Cultivating the Next Generation of Leaders
For almost a decade, the HACCI Young Professionals Network has been developing a mentoring program that goes beyond the traditional structure. The Chamber focuses on building transformational relationships that benefit both mentees and mentors—a reason why mentees and mentors keep coming back for more.
Tailor-made to suit the needs of each participating young professional, the program gives the reins to mentees, who submit their wish list of preferred industries and even request to be paired with specific mentors.
The team operates on the basis that mentees need to feel relaxed and encouraged to be curious. They are at a point in their professional life where they don’t need a teacher, but rather someone who journeys with them for a while.
Embracing a diverse cohort spanning medicine, law, finance, and beyond, the program transcends disciplinary boundaries, fostering cross-pollination of ideas and perspectives. Often, mentees seek guidance from people outside their industry, looking for valuable insight that will help them see things from a different perspective.
Recruiting mentors from its extensive network, both in Australia and overseas, HACCI ensures that mentees are being paired with the right professional, getting maximum value out of the seven-month-long experience.
We consider this program to be our crowning achievement, our main contribution to the fostering of inter-generational connection in the business and professional community, ensuring the continuation of the proud entrepreneurial legacy of Greek Australians.
Mentees take the lead, making a personal wish-list of industries -- and even specific mentors for pairing.
We tap into our vast local and global network to find the perfect match across a wide array of industries.
We build transformational relationships offering fresh perspectives on business.
